editor’s note:
Ideas are just ideas unless you act upon them. Turning a whole lotta nothing into something is a skill that everyone possesses, but you need to have the bravery - or perhaps the indifference to worry - to achieve it.
The subjects in this edition all took a shot, knowing it could very well miss but with the courage of knowing their arrow could also find its mark. Whether that is dispensing free pick-me-up poetry books to bus stops or setting up a secret dining pop-up in an old fire station, each of them just went for it.
In this edition we work the room with comic illustrator Bex Glendining, get into the mind of Disaster Inc, begin again with Natalie Okri, feast with The Foreign Embassy, salute supper with Three Sisters, find joy again with The Young Hearts and write the ripples with Brain Pebble Poet.
Enjoy!
