  • Media Sales – Commercial Manager

    Permanent, salaried role with uncapped commission and profit-based bonuses

    Base salary: £24,000–£26,000 (DOE)

    On-target earnings: £35,000–£50,000+

    Hours / 35hrs per week (Flexible)

    Cene Media is looking for a Media Sales Commercial Manager with a huge enthusiasm for sub-cultures in and around hospitality, events, art, design and sport.

    You will be working across both our multi-award-winning title ‘cene Magazine. Which is focused around the vibrant creative, hospitality and event industries in Kent, UK.

    And our latest addition to our publishing portfolio, Padel Culture Magazine. Which explores and documents the off-court culture of the fastest growing sport in the world, Padel.

    We need a new team player who is pro-active, ambitious and has great personable and communicative skills, who would be happy to work across Kent and the UK, representing the publications to new clients and sponsors (You will need a full UK driving licence.)

    Both publications are commercially print and digital focused, while also continuing to grow our event opportunities.

    What you’ll need;

    • An ambitious and creative approach to sales (Creating new product ideas with the team)

    • Be able to produce effective sales strategies

    • Experience in face-to-face media sales

    • Strong telesales phone manner

    • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills

    • Ability to prioritise and organise your pipe-line and work-flow

    • Confidence to work with a diverse range of clients

    • Good geographical knowledge of the UK and the Kent region

    • Work brilliantly in a team and independently

    We supported and created the annual magazine talking about the culture in-and-around the ongoing events at their newest venue Dreamland in Margate UK.

    Conducting interviews with global artists such as Ali Campbell (UB40), Morcheeba, Happy Mondays & Haçienda Classiçal, all who will perform over the duration of the series and delivering it in Cene Media’s signature high-quality print finished format.

  • London Lions, the UK’s leading professional basketball teams reached out to discuss their vision of swapping out their match day programmes to a quarterly printed magazine surrounding the culture of basketball in London. The first edition of BASELINE launched at the Lion’s first European Cup home game in it’s beautiful and tactile finished print format.
