The Art Car Boot Fair returns for 2026 - Huge line-up

This year also sees 100 pieces of work created exclusively for the Art Car Boot Fair that will be sold by every artist for just £100 each.

A cohort of 100 artists are set to turn Coal Drop’s Yard into an artist’s playground as London’s legendary Art Car Boot Fair returns with PLAY FREE for their 2026 theme.

The Art Car Boot Fair (Saturday 5 September 2026, 12-6pm) is where high art meets the high street, with internationally beloved artists selling directly from the boots of their cars. Past editions have seen the likes of Tracey Emin and Sir Peter Blake pitching up to sell directly to the public, with Vogue calling it “the most stylish car boot sale imaginable.”

This year also sees 100 pieces of work created exclusively for the Art Car Boot Fair that will be sold by every artist for just £100 each. Once again, the Art Car Boot Fair is the most accessible way of collecting art.

For 2026, British comedy icon Vic Reeves will bring his portraits of avians that were dubbed “the Andy Warhol of bird painting” by The Guardian art critic Jonathan Jones.

Internationally renowned photographer Rankin, best known for his portraits of Bjork, Madonna, David Bowie, Kate Moss, and the late Queen Elizabeth II will be giving visitors the chance to have their very own portrait taken by him.

GG the Illustrator, a visual artist on a mission to paint every council estate in London brings paintings, prints, and watercolour works to the Fair. Her scenes of council estate life in London have already won her famous fans including Central Cee and Unknown T.

The Art Car Boot Fair is art at its most alive. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or a curious newcomer, the Art Car Boot Fair offers an unmissable opportunity to meet artists face-to-face, haggle for a masterpiece, and walk away with something rare under your arm.
