Following BOOKCLUB’s 2023 'cene feature, the brand has continued its mission to champion and support rising DJs with one goal: to make strategy from the highest level of UK dance music more accessible, to give aspiring DJs full control over their bookings, audience, motivation, impact and story in music.
Since then, BOOKCLUB’s founder, Sam, has promoted more than 300 of the world’s biggest DJs, from Carl Cox to Chase & Status, Armin van Buuren to Pendulum, Andy C, Hedex and Sota, Steve Aoki, Nicky Romero and KSHMR… plus many more across more than 150 high-capacity club shows, tours and festivals as a full-time promoter.
The brand is bringing that vast experience and insight from the inner workings of the highest level of dance music to where it matters most: supporting the next generation of DJs and electronic music artists.
For DJs seeking fast advice, Sam offers free Q&A-style support for DJs via BOOKCLUB’s social media – a rare chance to access expert, personalised and friendly career support.
For artists looking for more advanced or ongoing support in a group setting, BOOKCLUB is also proud and excited to have launched BOOKCLUB Academy - an Artist Development programme already with over 20 members from across the UK, USA and Europe.

BOOKCLUB proudly presents an opportunity designed from the ground up to be all about the music and fair opportunities for all.
Speaking about the competition, Sam from BOOKCLUB said: "Competitions for most DJs feel like popularity contests. The winner often has the most followers, is already smashing socials, can offer gig swaps or is chosen based on who can benefit the brand the most at the time. I’ve seen that happen time and time again - from both sides. I know that’s the experience for hundreds of the DJs I have spoken to and worked with. But that’s not how it should be.
“As a DJ myself for over a decade, I always wanted to see a competition just like this. Every mix will be heard and attention will be paid to creativity, technique, track selection and even the passion behind the sound. Everyone has an equal chance to take something away from it and to showcase their authentic sound with no rules or limits.
“To me, that’s a really special thing. I feel so lucky to be working with such a fantastic, positive and friendly group of artists and I can’t wait to hear everyone’s sound!"
DJs who enter have two ways to win access to BOOKCLUB, with a massive 12-month prize and multiple other access passes available.
A LIVE, random draw will award the top prize. Plus, there will be extra surprises and passes up for grabs. Fair opportunities for everyone - exactly as DJ competitions should be.
DJs will also have the chance to win through the Mix Competition. Every mix submitted will be personally listened to by Sam. A competition with a real focus on the music – because that’s what it’s all about.
Inside the community, winners will secure more bookings, develop an authentic artist brand, build valuable industry relationships and grow loyal fans and audiences all in weekly LIVE coaching sessions, Q&As and with support from a community of like-minded artists all pushing in the same direction.
As a thank-you bonus, winners and entrants will also be offered 50% off if they would like to continue developing inside the CLUB after their initial prize term comes to an end. How to enter
Please submit your mix to the official competition page at www.bookclubacademy.co.uk/win before midnight on Friday 21st July 2026. You’ll be in with a chance of winning prizes in both the Mix Competition, as well as the LIVE draw!
Any dance/bass-music genres are welcome. No mix duration minimum or maximums. Just showcase your authentic sound and the love you have for it.
