A brand new burger joint has floated in Faversham.
Barge Burger (@bargeburger), down on Standard Quay is slinging quality smash burgers in a beautiful setting overlooking the Creek.
Started by George Forward, on the side of the very popular Papa Bianco, Barge Burger offers up double smashed patties with melted cheese and a list of toppings. While its early days for the Barge, a limited menu has seen the restaurant kick off with a banging straight cheese burger (£10.50) and a bacon cheeseburger (£11.50) to get round your chops.
It’s juicy, it’s fresh, it holds together to the end, and you can whack some crispy onions, gherkins, jalapeños and lettuce into it - it’s up to you.
Just look at it, sat there in it’s little boat/barge basket, surrounded by paprika fries and some incredible burger sauce…. i just want to take it home to meet my parents.
