New Banksy appears in Margate with stark Valentine's Day message
Artist takes to social media, adding the caption “Valentine’s Day Mascara’
A brand new Banksy piece has been discovered in Margate.
Just off the High Street, near the junction of Grosvenor Hill and Park Place, the internationally-renowned street artist has left his mark once more, with a stark Valentine’s Day message.
Depicting a female actioning a pushing movement towards a real discarded refrigerator, with a pair of shoe-clad feet sticking out of the fallen kitchenware. At her feet, is a frying pan.
The female looks to have a swollen eye and a missing tooth, and the artists took to social media this morning to write the caption “Valentine’s Day Mascara’ in reference to the injuries.
More than 700k people have already liked the post with many commenting on the theme of the piece which is protesting against violence towards women and domestic abuse.
