Monopoly's Whitstable and Herne Bay Edition launches
More than 30 tourism spots, heritage sites, hotels and shopping destinations feature
A brand-new official Monopoly: Whitstable and Herne Bay Edition game – featuring the great and good of the region, including Southeastern – is now available to buy!
More than 30 landmarks, organisations, and charities from across the region appear in the game.
The squares have been customised with local tourism spots, heritage sites, hotels, and shopping destinations, all reflecting the vibrancy and history of the region. Three charities – Wildwood Trust, Revival Kent, and the Whitstable Community Umbrella Centre – are also featured on the board.
During the game’s official launch in Herne Bay, Mr Monopoly himself declared Whitstable and Herne Bay as ‘Passing Go’ and the board is now in stores for all to enjoy.

In a fun twist, players will find localised Chance and Community Chest cards, including one that advances players to Herne Bay Pier and another where you lose money after a seagull steals your lunch!
Monopoly is celebrating its 90th anniversary in 2025, and this edition has been launched as part of the milestone celebrations, perfectly timed to coincide with Easter, one of the most popular times for families to gather around the board!
