Medway news team creates platform for Medway artists and producers
Medwayish will stock prints, gifts and books related to the towns
Local news hounds Ed Jennings and Steven Keevil have launched a brand new platform to collaborate with Medway-based creatives.
The founders of localauthority.news, which was recently named the Kent News Website of the Year, have created medwayish.com to support their ongoing efforts for better news coverage of the Medway towns and to continue to raise their profile.
The initial products were created as rewards for a successful crowdfunding campaign and but they were overwhelmed when local creators contacted them asking if they wanted to add their items to the Medwayish Range. They have expanded to start selling unique Medway-related prints, gifts, books and many other items.
Having successfully held stalls at Medway events, including Medway Pride and the Festival of Chatham Reach, Medwayish are looking forward to their first Christmas with items available via their website or at up and coming Christmas markets.
"It's a simple venn diagram, items based around Medway by Medway based talent. Not only do we have great items for sale, but we are really excited by what we have planned for 2024,” say the team.
