Collective behind Dance For Love, Field Vibrations & Luv Nrg Announce New Line-up
OBJCT FNSTY, an innovative event and music label based in Folkestone, has announced the return of their celebrated beach parties for the summer season of 2024.
Now in its third year, the event highlights Folkestone's lively summer culture and offering a unique platform for community connection and celebration.
Embracing the vibrant energy of Folkestone, this dynamic DIY party collective, formed by a group of friends, has thrived by exploring various spaces, names, and styles of underground music.
With a strong focus on the dancefloor and innovative multimedia projects that enhance the local landscape, they have created a unique and exciting presence in the area, even without a local nightclub.
Renowned for eclectic events like Dance For Love, Field Vibrations, WEDGED, and LUV NRG, OBJCT FNSTY's summer series, Mermaids, promises to bring an exhilarating array of talent to Folkestone Beach.
This year's eagerly-awaited lineup includes standout acts such as FAFF, BABY ROLLEN, HENDERSON, KITSTA, iAMA, and LONDON HATRED and more.
These events will be held against the scenic backdrop of Mermaid Cafe & Bar on Folkestone Beach, ensuring unforgettable evenings filled with vibrant music and community spirit.
Party organiser Toni shared their enthusiasm, saying: "Mermaids provides a vital space for our community to come together and celebrate. Our events are proudly queer and inclusive, offering a joyous environment where everyone can connect, dance, and have fun.".
The four beach parties will take place on the first Saturday of each month, from 5- 11pm:
June 1st
July 6th
August 3rd
September 7th
