Only a year after its initial launch, Canterbury’s newest leisure and residential quarter The Riverside is packed with things to do and places to eat.
Alongside the River Stour, to the north-east of the historic city centre, Riverside is now home to the stunning five-screen Curzon cinema as well as eight cafés, bars and restaurants.
With a pedestrianised central public square - perfect for pop-up markets and events - and 220 underground parking spaces (with five hours free parking for Curzon customers) it is easily accessible by car and public transport and is within close walking distance (10-15 mins) of the city centre.
The stylish Curzon cinema brings all the latest films to its five state-of-the-art screens - while this summer also saw the additional outdoor screen showing some classic movies and live sport! Enjoy a bite to eat (including sourdough pizzas, sharing plates, hot dogs and fries) in the cocktail bar and lounge area or from the comfort of your cinema seat.
For a fun, interactive cinema experience for children, look no further than the weekly Kids Club showing family-friendly films – from classics to new releases – at reduced prices.
