New Curzon Canterbury Riverside opens with a cinema experience you can’t get at home
With five spacious screens inspired by Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales, a cocktail bar and a pizzeria, the brand new Curzon Canterbury (@curzoncinemas) Riverside has opened to offer a holistic cinema experience that you can’t get at home.
With dedicated Dolby Atmos screens for peerless surround sound, the venue will supplement the already thriving Curzon Canterbury Westgate, and add to the buzz that surrounds the new Riverside development.
“We are thrilled to be expanding our presence in Canterbury with this stunning new destination venue,” says Curzon CEO Philip Knatchbull. “Canterbury Riverside is a sophisticated, contemporary cinema that will showcase our cutting-edge technology, always consistent customer service, and excellent food and drink offering.”
With its striking exterior, modern decor and deep-orange colour palette, Canterbury Riverside is a luxurious place to spend an evening, whether watching a film, sipping on a cocktail, wine or craft beer or tucking into some Italian goodness from a menu of stone-baked sourdough pizzas and small plates.
In conjunction with other Curzon cinemas, Canterbury Riverside will have a wide-ranging film programme, featuring independent and world cinema, as well as all of the latest blockbusters.
The cinema will be hosting Happy Hour every night and will be open late on the weekend. As an added bonus there is free parking for all guests at Canterbury Riverside.
