BITE CLUB REVIEW: OURS, FAVERSHAM
…there’s normally a queue out of the door as well as a community of regular patrons gathered al fresco enjoying coffee and a chat.
Despite being petite in size, Ours is hard to miss in Faversham’s town centre. Firstly, its eye-catching red logo, but also there’s normally a queue out of the door as well as a community of regular patrons gathered al fresco enjoying coffee and a chat.
With its own run club, pizza nights and general good egging, Ours has become a location to enjoy a relaxing brunch. Sit in, sit out, or just takeaway, the option is yours. On this occasion we chose to grab and go and, while there are more breakfasty egg-avo options, it was the handheld snacks we were after. We chose the New Yorker (£10.50) - a soft, sweet bagel packed with slices of Emmental cheese and a healthy helping of pastrami. American mustard, sauerkraut and chopped pickles added to an explosion of flavours.
We also took home a warm toastie (£11), featuring melted Emmental, with slices of beautifully salty prosciutto and sliced courgette, which was a delicious twist. For drinks we took a walk on the wild side with the nutty and creamy pistachio latte. Lovely.
