Half term crafts for kids, Beef Feasting Night and the Big Foodie Quiz returns




Kent food and drink destination Macknade, is launching into the new season with a calendar of events for all ages – from foodie feasts and supper clubs to family fun this half term…

The Big Foodie Quiz: in Aid of Dandelion Time – October 18th, 6.30pm – 9.30pm

Back by popular demand, Macknade’s Big Foodie Quiz returns to Faversham this October. Teams will go head-to-head challenging their culinary knowledge, raising money for Macknade’s charity partner, Dandelion Time. Tickets are £20pp and include one of Macknade’s famous deli platters, with £5 from every ticket going directly to support the charity’s vital work. Haunting Half Term Crafts: Pumpkin Decorating – October 23rd, 11am – 1.30pm

Families are invited to roll up their sleeves for some spooky fun this half term as Macknade hosts a drop-in pumpkin decorating workshop. Children can create their own ghoulish designs to take home, enjoy foodie-themed activity sheets in-store and collect a prize once completed. The cost is £5 per pumpkin. From Pasture to Plate: Beef Feasting Night – October 25th, 7pm – 10.30pm

The latest edition of Macknade’s feasting series celebrates exceptional beef from Charrington Farm. Guests will enjoy a three-course menu spotlighting Wagyu & Hereford breeds, raised on wildflower meadows and certified Pasture for Life. Alongside the food, the team from Charrington Farm will be on hand to share stories of their land & livestock, making for a truly immersive evening. Tickets are £40pp and can be booked here:

Food of Virtue: Friendsgiving Supper Club – November 1st, 6.30pm – 9pm

Looking ahead, Macknade kicks off November with special supper club hosted by Food of Virtue. The evening features a Thanksgiving-inspired menu designed and cooked by Virtue, a talented local teenage chef and Young Cooks finalist who is one of Kent’s rising stars.

With communal seating, games and a gratitude wall, the event promises to bring people together in a warm and welcoming setting.
