East Kent Kitesurfing Community launches new website
A central hub for kitesurfers across the Kent coast, offering local spot guides, safety information & event announcements
Kitesurfers looking for the best local spots to catch some air time will now have a place to land with the launch of a brand-new website - EKKC.org.
The East Kent Kitesurfing Community (EKKC) has designed the site to be the central hub for kitesurfers across the Kent coast, offering local spot guides, safety information, event announcements, and updates from the community.
It also provides a platform for EKKC to represent the interests of local kiters while welcoming newcomers and visitors to the sport.
“The launch of EKKC.org is a huge step forward for the East Kent kiting community,” says the Chair. “It’s not just a website – it’s a hub for local kiters and visitors, and a place to share spot guides, news, and events, and a platform to represent our community’s interests along the Kent coast. We’ve built this together, and we’d love everyone to use it, share it, and make it the beating heart of East Kent kitesurfing.”
Alongside the new site, the club has released its 2026 Wall Calendar, available in two versions – one with daily tide charts (ideal for kiters, dog walkers, and beach lovers) and one without, designed as a decorative piece or gift. Both feature high-quality photography of East Kent’s coastline and local kitesurfers.
Each calendar sold raises £5 profit, which goes directly towards the club’s mission: keeping beaches clean, educating people about the coastline, and helping more people into the sport. Calendars will be available to purchase via the website until March 2026.
With the calendar being printed on demand and through an international company, anyone in the world should be able to order and it will be printed and shipped nearby so the cost will be low for shipping.
