120+ acts, 16 stages, 10 venues, 2 days, 1 wristband!

After a six-year hiatus, City Sound Project finally returns to Canterbury for the first time since 2018.

The cross-genre multi-venue festival will be taking place within the city walls of a UNESCO World Heritage Site on the 25th & 26th of May, spanning 10 venues and over 15+ stages, showcasing more than 100 artists from Live Music, House, Electronic, DNB, UKG and much more.

The unique festival will feature some of the most incredible spaces in Kent, including the over 600-year-old Westgate Towers.

As well as other outdoor spaces and street parties, the event will occupy most of the licenced premises within the city walls.

So far, City Sound Project will showcase sets and live performances from some of the UK’s most exciting talent, coincided with industry veterans including A Little Sound, Redlight, SOTA, Alex Mills, PYNCH, TIBASKO, MNL (My Nu Leng), Annabel Stop it, Emily Nash, plus loads more!

City Sound Project raised the bar in Kent’s music scene over a decade ago in its inception back in 2012. The event organisers pride themselves on creating a platform for up-and-coming artists. Prior acts included Bastille, just before ‘Pompeii’ obliterated the chart.

The 2018 event saw Solid Grooves take over The Cuban with a memorable Michael Bibi & PAWSA back-to-back and other artists throughout the festival’s history include Sonny Fodera, Mike Skinner, AJ Tracy, Dave, David Rodigan MBE, Gorgon City, George Ezra, My Nu Leng + many more.

This year, in arguably the most difficult time in the night life economy for many decades, the City Sound Project team aim to bring together the community in Canterbury and Kent for a phenomenal 2-day festival, attracting 3,000 punters across the weekend.

With each venue stacked with festival grade production, adding their own flavour to the show.
