East Kent Artists’ Open Houses (EKOH) is set to return for its 26th year, bringing together more than 220 artists across over 110 homes, studios and galleries.
The annual event offers visitors the chance to explore the creative work of artists across East Kent, while gaining an insight into the ways they develop and produce their work. From established practitioners to those working in emerging creative fields, the trail showcases a broad range of artistic disciplines.
A key feature of EKOH is the opportunity to meet artists in the places where they work. Visitors can talk directly to creators about their techniques, inspiration and experiences, while discovering more about the creative activity taking place in communities across the region.

Organisers say the open-house format also provides an accessible way for people to discover new forms of creativity and potentially make contacts for their own artistic interests. With venues ranging from private homes and working studios to galleries, the event aims to offer something for a wide range of tastes.
Many of the artworks on display will also be available to buy, giving visitors the opportunity to purchase directly from artists or their representatives. The event therefore provides a platform not only for discovering new work but also for supporting artists and taking home an original piece.
With more than 110 venues participating, visitors are encouraged to plan their route in advance and explore different locations across East Kent.
EKOH organisers hope the 2026 trail will once again surprise and inspire visitors, offering an informal setting in which to experience a diverse selection of high-quality artwork and meet the people behind it.
