KERB brings street-food line-up to Dreamland for 2024
Which delectable delights can fans get their hands on this summer?
In a tasty move from Dreamland, they’ve teamed up with KERB – London’s street-food aficionados – who have curated a line-up of sizzling independent food businesses.
Having kicked off at Easter, park goers are now being treated to the creations of Kent’s best street-food chefs. With the famous beachside amusement park playing host to an epic run of live music events in 2024, we got in touch with KERB to find out which delectable delights fans can get their hands on when they visit this summer.
The Sea Shanty
Brand-new on the scene from Danny, the exec chef behind Shelter Hall in Brighton, this lot are taking classic fish and chips to the next level. Expect hot and crispy battered cod and chips, salt and pepper squid and Dreamland specials such as Baja fish tacos.
Hero dish: Order the fish butty – hot and crispy battered cod in a bun with creamy mushy peas and zingy tartare – a classic seaside combo!
Rad Burger
They’re Dreamland staples, so they had to stay! Slinging out the juiciest burgers around, these guys will have your mouth watering with their smashed beef patties, creative vegan and veggie burgers and crispy halloumi nugs.
Hero dish: Order the crispy halloumi nuggets. These smaller, crispier bites are a game-changer. Drizzled in Rad’s signature hot honey, they’re the perfect salty sweet and spicy bite.
Hide & Greek
Bringing the vibrant and delicious spirit of Greece to Dreamland! It’s a family affair at Hide & Greek, serving up traditional gyros, succulent souvlaki and mouthwatering halloumi fries. A seriously authentic taste of the Mediterranean right here in Margate.
Hero dish: Order the pork souvlaki wrap, with heaps of homemade tzatziki and crispy fries tucked inside. It won’t disappoint.
T’s Tacos (VIP area)
Family-run and bursting with Mexican flavours, T’s Tacos are bringing fresh, hearty, authentic dishes to the VIP area, including soft-shell tacos, burritos, nachos and quesadillas. You can’t miss their quirky van or sizzling flavours.
Hero dish: Order the carne tacos, squeeze over plenty of fresh lime and get ready for the ooze…
Big Shot Hot Dogs
You can’t go wrong with hot dogs, and Big Shot does it best. Expect giant American Dogs with a range of flavours (including vegan options) plus exciting house-made toppings and blow-torched cheese.
Hero dish: Order the chilli dog – beef sausage, smoked chilli con carne, blowtorched cheese and a signature zig-zag of chipotle mayo. Get your mouth around this one – we dare you!
Opening hours: Weekends, school holidays (half-term and summer) and bank holidays! Next up: May half-term, May 27th - June 2nd.
