In this issue we learn about going viral with Venbee. We get lost with artist David Shillinglaw, doodle with Prisonstyle, go through the person portal with R.A.E, analyse Alice with Jasmin Vardimon, supe up our sourdough with The Bread Smith and bring out the character with The Slopes.

editors note:
There is something very stoic about the subjects in this issue. Sticking to their principles and doing their thing, in their own way, no matter what, whether that’s at the start of their journey as a creative outlet, or having already risen to the top of their field.
When the world is telling you everything is f*cked, I take heart in those who carry on, who don’t flex and don’t hide. But sometimes you need to change.
Having chatted with our print team, we worked out that by cutting the size of the magazine ever so slightly, we could save even more on paper waste, making ‘cene as enviro-friendly as possible. And more change is coming. We can all feel it.
Enjoy

Nightclub, café and creative coworking space, discover The Art Club in Dover, words by Jack Coleman
Make it your task this July/August to go and visit a Kent town that you’ve never been to before. Take in the sights, sounds, shops, arts and festivals. Take a punt.
In this issue, so many of our subjects did exactly that - stuck their neck out and said ‘let’s do it’. Former doorman turned musician Charlie Jeer did it, the team at The Art Club in Dover headed back to the high street when many told them not to, while photographer Chris McAndrew risked the wrath of a national newspaper during his first professional shoot!
Plus we take a stroll with ParkBathe, get addicted to tufting with Ellen Russell and discover Kent’s own cabinet of mysteries.
