A brand new podcast series from Southeastern has been launched to take listeners on a whistlestop tour of some of the best places to explore across the train’s network in Kent and East Sussex.
Working with celebrity hosts, the first three episodes launch on 16th January 2023, available from usual Podcast providers.
The podcasts are designed to give listeners a unique view of the best that Kent and East Sussex have to offer, all easily reached by hopping on board a Southeastern train.

You will be after you’ve joined Gregg Wallace on a train journey through the foodie wonderland of Kent.
Follow Gregg’s mouth-watering journey through the county, from The Goods Shed in Canterbury to Faversham’s Macknade Food Hall, via a quick drink at the Shepherd Neame brewery, before sinking his teeth into some seaside favourites in Whitstable.
Get lost with Ed Byrne
In need of some fresh air?
Take some inspiration from Ed Byrne as he explores Kent’s best countryside walks and craggy coastal paths.
Join the comedian on his way from Margate to the beaches of Broadstairs to ramble with some locals, before catching a train to the village of Wye to learn more about the area’s diverse wildlife and meet some celebrity pups along the way.

Join the historian as she meanders through Royal Tunbridge Wells, before hopping on board a train to Hastings to discover its maritime heritage.
From there, she explores the legendary Battle Abbey, and learns about the area’s rich and fascinating past, from the Jurassic age to the present day.
