'Science' light show by Luxmuralis heads to Rochester Cathedral
Luxmuralis previously brought the sell-out ‘Space Voyage’ and ‘Life’ in 2021 and 2022
This Autumn Rochester Cathedral will be transformed by a stunning son-et-lumiere by Luxmuralis inspired by the world of science.
‘Science’ explores chemistry and biology and interprets artistically the scale of molecules cells and DNA as well as exploring the history of science, the contributions of science to humanity, and offers a reflection upon famous scientists past and present.
Viewers are immersed in the soundscapes they hear and walk through the light artworks that are all around them on an explorative journey through the sacred space.
This will be the third time Luxmuralis have been to Rochester Cathedral. They previously brought Space Voyage in 2021 and Life in 2022.
The show has been created by award winning artistic collaboration ‘Luxmuralis’, Peter Walker Sculptor and David Harper Composer. Luxmuralis previously brought the sell-out ‘Space Voyage’ and ‘Life’ to Rochester Cathedral in 2021 and 2022.
Luxmuralis return from the 3rd to the 7th October 2023. Tickets are now on sale and advance booking is highly recommended. Tickets for popular nights and time slots have sold out very quickly for the past two events.
