Stunning design to feature 'alfresco dining experience' and retractable glass ceiling
Chapel House Estate in Ramsgate has announced that its stunning new oak-framed Glass Courtyard has been given the go-ahead for construction.
Already home to the No 9 Restaurant and Lounge bar, the versatile new venue space has received planning permission with construction to begin this winter using local builders and suppliers.
The Glass Courtyard will transform the venue into a stunning setting for special occasions providing provide an 'alfresco dining experience' for guests, regardless of the weather conditions.
The design will complement the existing buildings, seamlessly blending modern architecture with the estate’s timeless charm.

The Glass Courtyard will feature floor-to-ceiling glass walls as well as an advanced heating and cooling systems, bi folding doors and a retractable glass ceiling!
Since its launch in July 2022, the multi-award-winning Chapel House Estate blends historic romantic beauty and modern sophistication. The addition of the Glass Courtyard’s exquisite new space will offer a flawless setting for drinks receptions, wedding breakfasts, ceremonies, corporate events, dining, and a variety of other events.
