Limp Bizkit & Richard Ashcroft added to Margate Summer Series line-up
The series of gigs will once again be held at Dreamland
Margate Summer Series is fast becoming a staple in the summer music calendar and yet another extensive wave of artists can now be confirmed, with thousands sure to flock to the UK’s coolest seaside town for the hottest summer shows around.
From May to September 2024, Margate will once again become the go-to destination for music fans as it plays host to the very best homegrown and international talent, in what is set to be the biggest and best summer MSS yet. The series will return to take over the town’s premier amusement park and legendary seafront music venue, Dreamland, creating a unique setting for artists and revellers alike.
Latest to be announced are Richard Ashcroft and Limp Bizkit.
Richard Ashcroft (Friday 12th July), former frontman of The Verve and two-time Ivor Novello winner will be gracing Margate with his rock & roll gravitas. Responsible for some of the UK’s biggest 90’s and 00’s anthems including, ‘Bittersweet Syphony’, ‘The Drugs Don’t Work’ and ‘A Song for The Lovers’, audiences can expect to be taken on trip down memory lane.
Bringing an infectious spirit to the Margate Summer Series is the one and only, Limp Bizkit (Saturday 15th June). The American band's immediately recognisable sound spans nu metal, rap and rock and they guarantee a high-energy show, uniquely orchestrated by the iconic, Fred Durst. Expect a show packed with hits - and a packed mosh-pit - as they roll out the anthems.
