The man behind Milk & Cookies has teamed up with Ring Ring to bring some indulgence and naughtiness to Ramsgate seafront.

Stuart Saint - aka the Cookie Man - will be taking the helm of the world’s smallest ice-cream parlour Ring Ring to serve up treats which are just as indulgent and naughty as his cookies.

Saint, who runs Milk & Cookie (@milkandcookieuk) in Margate, has designed a new menu, boasting eight new flavour combos, while Ring Ring (@ringringicecream) owner Danny Montila - who launched the business last year - will work behind the scenes.

The tiny parlour, located in a traditional red phone box on Ramsgate seafront by Wetherspoon, opened on Saturday 30th April.

And to add to the excitement, in June, the phone box next to it - yes, there are a pair of them - will be opened as Milk & Cookie Jr, serving up a selection of cookie treats.

It will be decked out in the shop’s colours and Saint will operate both booths.

“It’s going to be fun, there’s a brand new menu for Ring Ring with lots more variety and eight new combinations which are indulgent and very cool,” says Saint.

“We’re going to do a selection of ice cream sizes, so small, medium and large, and we’ll do the good old standard 99 but we’re calling it the 999.”

The names are really quite something and of course, they didn’t miss a trick when it came to telephone puns.

They’ve got the Ring-a-ding-ding, with fluffy marshmallow and sprinkled vanilla ice cream, the Salty Speed Dial and the 0800 Dough with cookie dough.

“We’ve got the Automatic Redial because it’s so good you’ll want to have another one as soon as you finish. It’s a dipped, whipped ice cream, injected with caramel.

“The Hung-up Hazelnut - you’ll have to disconnect to eat this one, it’s Belgium praline and pure Belgium chocolate.

“Then there’s the 1471 because you need total discretion to eat it because it’s so big.

“They will be just as indulgent as before and different to what anyone is offering.”

Saint is in the process of getting a moped - the ‘cookiemobile’ - so you may see him zipping between his shop in Margate and the Ramsgate phone boxes this summer.

Ring Ring will open on Saturday from midday and be open weekends in May.

Through the summer, Ring Ring and Milk & Cookie Jr will open seven days a week.

Holidays such as half term Halloween and Christmas, they will also be open.
