Denise Van Outen, Alexandra Burke and Baga Chipz headline Pride Canterbury
Pride will be back in the Dane John Gardens on Saturday 11th June 2022 with its biggest and best lineup to date
Pride Canterbury will return on Saturday 11th June 2022 with a Parade through the Canterbury City Centre followed by a star studded line up of artists celebrating in the Dane John Gardens, including performances from Alexandra Burke, stars from RuPaul's Drag Race and a DJ set from Denise Van Outen.
Alexandra Burke became an X Factor winner in 2008 and has gone on to release hit singles such as Bad Boys and Broken Heels. In addition to being a contender on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017, she has had many residencies in the West End including DreamGirls the Musical, Sister Act the Musical, and Chicago.
Alongside Alexandra sits a collection of drag performers from RuPaul's Drag Race UK vs The World, including home grown competitor Baga Chipz, Jujubee from RuPaul's Drag USA and Jimbo from Canada's Drag Race.
Kent's very own River Medway from RuPaul's Drag Race UK heads up the many local acts featured on the day with her season three co-star Vanity Milan also performing. The main stage will also feature a fantastic DJ set from Denise Van Outen, the award winning Lady Gaga impersonator Donna Marie and the amazing Vicky Jackson as P!NK.
