FAKER SUPPLY DROP 2 LAUNCHED
Canterbury-based fashion house Faker Supply has continued its 2020 revamp with Drop 2 Part 1.
Having changed up its brand outlook in September, the underground label has embarked upon its second Drop with fresh designs and its always unique styles.
Faker Supply shot to prominence because of its highly anticipated fashion drops and cryptic marketing, which even included clothing designs that featured co-ordinates to a VIP launch party .
Earlier this year, owner Max Carpenter decided to reshape the vision of the brand, including removing the old products and bringing in new lines. And he has stuck to his word, even collaborating with artist Sarah Cliff for new features.
He said: “Drop 2 Part 1 was very focused on returning previously loved products but even more garish than before. The classic fleece has a much larger and intricate embroidery, focused around my love for basketball and a slight nod to both Kobe and the Lakers. The joggers have been redesigned and come with a fun 80s themed illustration set that really sticks out.
”I worked with artist Sarah Cliff and we focused on trying to bring some vibrance back to 2020. There is an exhaustive amount of brands coming out in the streetwear market but as always I’ve continued very focused internally rather than looking at what others are doing.
”Retail has been slaughtered by the happenings of this year, I really had to take a step back and reevaluate what I was creating. This is why drops will now be created between 3/4 months. With each collection coming bigger and better.
”I really do look forward to sharing more with everyone and I hope that people enjoy my second “full” collection!
