Faversham's A New Day Festival Line-up 2026
The event’s 10th anniversary welcomes headliners Hawkwind, Sweet and Lindisfarne
Renowned as the small festival with the big names, the line-up for this year’s A New Day Festval, as always, provides a unique chance to see legendary bands in an intimate setting.
The audience are able to enjoy many of the bands they grew up with, alongside a good helping of young up-and coming-bands, covering most genres; bands appearing over the past 10 years include Jethro Tull, The Stranglers, Uriah Heep, Focus, Ten Years After, Steeleye Span, Wilko Johnson, Dr Feelgood, Tangerine Dream, Feeder and… The Glenn Miller Orchestra.
2026 is the 10th anniversary, and it looks likely to be the biggest and best yet. Headliners this year include Hawkwind, Sweet, Lindisfarne, The Peatbog Faeries, Gong, Stray, Mike Sanchez, Curved Air and many more.
A New Day, though, is about much more than the music. Within the beautiful ornamental garden setting you will find a plethora of craft and music stalls, excellent food stalls catering to all tastes and diets and a well-stocked bar crammed with award-winning ales, lagers and ciders, with spirits and cocktails to boot.
Attendance is strictly limited to 2,000, well below permitted capacity, to ensure no overcrowding, no horrible queues, plenty of room for everyone.
There are two stages, running alternately, so no clashes, you can catch every minute of every performer.
Renowned local author Julie Wassmer, and others, will be hosting book signings in the arena.
A New Day was awarded Festival Of The Year by WRC in 2022 and 2024 and has been shortlisted by UK Festival Awards for Best Small Festival, a remarkable achievement considering it was up against hundreds of festivals.
Camping and Glamping (luxury camping) is available, and parking is ample and free.
