What's on at Folkestone Harbour Arm this summer?

From live music to street food and the outdoor cinema, there’s plenty happening in 2026

Summer 2026 at Folkestone Harbour Arm

Since reopening to the public just over a decade ago, this former derelict ferry port turned super-star visitor attraction continues to delight visitors.

Whilst much work has been done to make it a year-round destination, with 9 large indoor spaces opening in the last 4 years alone, the summertime is still the perfect time to visit any seaside attraction.

The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever (26th July)

Recognised across the globe, The Most Wuthering Heights Day ever returns to Folkestone on Sunday 26th July. This weird and wonderful event has seen thousands of ‘Kates’ dust off their iconic, bright red ‘Wuthering Heights’ dress and come together to dance to the Kate Bush number. Participation is completely free, and anyone in a red dress is welcome to take part.

Live Music

The free live music at Folkestone Harbour Arm is, in a couple of words, almost endless. Each weekend in the summer months, there are 9 live gigs at different locations across the site. Whether you want to dance around to large live bands out at sea on The Harbour Arm itself (Saturday & Sunday afternoons), settle into a jazz set accompanied by a 3-course meal (Fridays, 7pm at The Tasting Rooms) or enjoy chilled acoustic set as the weekend wind-down begins (6pm at Brewing Brothers). Head to the events page of our website for more information.

The Big Summer Blow Out (29th August)

An all-day event to celebrate the height summer. More music and more cinema, all culminating in an enormous fireworks display.

Outdoor Cinema

Throughout the summer, before making a very festive return in the Winter months, our entirely free, summer cinema is here to keep you entertained. With a different film on every Friday, from rom coms and chick-flics to massive sharks and Mr Bean, there’s something for all to enjoy this year.

Remaining titles (all Fridays @ 7pm):

Coyote Ugly – 10th July

13 Going On 30 – 17th July

The Lizzie McGuire Movie – 24th July

Clueless – 31st July

Jaws – 7th August

Mr Bean’s Holiday – 14th August

Pirates of the Caribbean – 21st August

The Goonies – 28th August

Harbour Arm Pop Ups

This summer, the Harbour Arm team are shaking things up a little, roots and creating a major new opportunity for small scale, pop-up, independent street-food visionaries who want to grow their audience and trade at one of the most unique venues in Kent.

From April – September 2026, the heart of The Harbour Arm will be made up entirely of pop-up, street-food style vendors and bars. Same continuous events and live music programme, same exceptional views. Imagine a food festival, every weekend, in the middle of the English Channel.

Weekends and bank holidays only.
