The Ivy announces its Canterbury Brasserie opening date
Featuring 180 covers, a stylish bar, an outdoor terrace and a private dining room
The Ivy Collection has announced the opening of The Ivy Canterbury Brasserie on 29th October 2024.
The news was announced by a town crier parade through the city, complete with a live brass band.
The Ivy Canterbury Brasserie will be The Ivy Collection’s 41st restaurant, featuring 180 covers, a stylish bar, an outdoor terrace and a private dining room.
Guests can expect a diverse menu combining timeless classics with modern flavours, including local and seasonal ingredients. The menu will also feature locally sourced beverages such as English Sparkling Wine, cider and Pleasant Land spirits from Kent.
The brasserie’s interior will reflect the brand’s signature elegance, making it the perfect destination for all occasions—from casual lunches to special celebrations. The restaurant will be located at the corner of The Parade & Rose Lane.
Announcing the eagerly anticipated opening, General Manager Diogo Bolan, who brings expertise from The Ivy Wimbledon, said: “We are thrilled to bring the iconic Ivy experience to Canterbury. The city is known for its rich heritage and vibrant community and is the perfect setting for our next chapter. Open seven days a week, The Ivy brasseries offer a full service from breakfast through to dinner and offers experience of more than 100 years at the forefront of British hospitality.
