Port Lympne Open Gates To Bear Lodge for Public Dining
No park ticket or annual pass will be required to visit Bear Lodge restaurant
The gates to Bear Lodge at Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve will be open to the public for weekend dining.
From Friday 3rd November, the will be much more on offer than the bear necessities; whether it’s a Friday night curry, casual family Saturday lunch or a Sunday Roast, Bear Lodge is creating a great new option for family dining in the area.
Head Chef Suresh has created an authentic curry night menu for Friday evenings, from sharing starter dishes to classics such as Butter Masala, Bhuna and Dupiaza with palette cleansing Kulafi Indian ice-cream - all three courses for £28.50 per person.
The Sunday roast menu offers such winter warmers as; baked camembert, tempura squid or Port Lympne’s pastry chef’s famous Rosemary Focaccia.
Choose from main courses of roast sirloin beef, chicken, Cumberland sausage ring, pumpkin nut roast or even beer battered fish and chips. The winter-themed dessert selection offers classic favourites; apple and blackberry crumble, poached pear or brownie sundaes and ice creams.
Prices start from £7 for a starter, £17 for main courses and £6 for a dessert.
Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve’s Bear Lodge will be offering these amazing new menus to external diners for the first time as well as guests to the resort.
No Reserve ticket or annual pass will be required to visit Bear Lodge Restaurant. With its own private entrance, a family play area, extraordinary views across the Port Lympne’s spectacled bear enclosure and the entire reserve and a troop of cheeky squirrel monkeys to visit, Bear Lodge is offers a memorable family dining experience.

Fridays: 5-8pm, serving authentic curries from our brand-new Curry Night menu
Saturdays: 5-8pm, serving crowd-pleasing classics from around the world
Sundays: 12-4pm, serving family-friendly Sunday roasts
