Faversham based Bindfulness Handmade Books workshops for 2026 are ready for Spring and run throughout the year, making them a perfect Mother’s Day gift – or maybe just a treat for you!
Hope Fitzgerald, bookbinder and workshop host for Bindfulness Handmade Books, said: “For me, Bindfulness workshops are a perfect way to work in community – in person, offline, non screen, hands-on making. I enjoy giving people space and individual support to explore binding processes and learn about the structure of books. It's really about having a good day out, gaining new skills and leaving the workshops with a beautiful book."

Bindfulness started in 2018 with a pivot of Hope's creative career from photography, video, art, and arts education toward bookbinding - a craft with a satisfying mix of structure, creativity, and hands-on problem solving. Hope’s handmade books, many of which are one of a kind, are available online, but her favourite way to share her books is at in-person markets and pop-ups around Kent. Bookbinding workshop materials are included with tools provided on the day. Groups are limited to eight people to make the most of small group tuition. Book early - these days fill quickly! Coffees, teas, and something sweet to fuel the day are included. Workshops start from £105.
