New Banksy appears in Herne Bay and... gets demolished
Street artist confirms his work has been torn down
Street art icon Banksy has confirmed another piece in Kent - this time on the wall of a derelict farmhouse in the seaside town of Herne Bay.
Entitled ‘Morning is Broken’, the piece depicts the outline of person opening curtains made of corrugated iron alongside a cat.
The anonymous artist confirmed they were the creator of the piece in a post shared to Instagram.
In the third post, it would appear that the artwork and that part of the building, which is formerly property of Blacksole Farm, has already been demolished as part of development plans. Whoops.
