The return of the Macknade wine tasting, open mic nights and foodie quiz
Renowned Kentish Food Hall, Macknade, is excited to announce a bumper line-up of events to celebrate the beginning of Spring.
Across March, Macknade is hosting several events that are not to be missed, including the return of its popular foodie quiz.
14th March – Pour de France: The Loire Valley
Experience the second installment of Macknade’s French wine tasting series, Pour de France, as the team venture to the Loire Valley. Starting with Muscadet, near the Atlantic coast, guests will travel along France’s longest, and perhaps most famous, river to sample several styles of wine, including the dry flinty Sauvignons the region is best known for… each paired with a selection of cheese & charcuterie from Macknade’s acclaimed deli counter. 21st March – Open Mic with Dave Rogers
Join Macknade for its very first open mic night with local legend, Dave Rogers. Guests can choose to step up to the mic, or simply soak up the sounds, with a selection of drinks available from the bar, alongside a menu of delicious dishes from the Macknade kitchen. 22nd March – Big Foodie Quiz in aid of Food Friends
Gather friends and family for an evening of friendly competition and culinary trivia at Macknade’s Big Foodie Quiz, in aid of local charity, Food Friends.
From 6.30pm, guests will have their knowledge tested on a variety of food- related topics, as they vie for the title of ultimate foodie.
