HOME AGAIN - THE LIDO STORES, MARGATE

An emotional connection and the desire to discover new artists are central to the triumphant return of The Lido Stores

Only a week until the start of Folk Week 2023 – 11 – 18 August.

As always, there is a fantastic week planned full of music concerts and gigs, ceilidhs, workshops, the Hobby Horse Club, Morris dancing, the Parade, Craft Fair and of course Clarence and those pesky Hooden horses!

The Parade will start at 5.30pm on Saturday from Pierremont Avenue and will process down the High Street onto the prom to finish with a show at the bandstand.

The Craft and Music Fair will be on Victoria Gardens open daily Saturday 12th – Friday 18th August 10.00am – 8.30pm.

Hobby Horse Club will take place each day from Saturday at 10.45am with a different theme each day.

The main concert arena this year is at Queens Road Baptist Church, with smaller concerts at Crampton Hall.

The Sailing Club is home to: Breakfast with John & Di, Acoustic Hour with Sally Ironmonger, Folk Club with Morag from Rosslyn Court & the evening Singarounds with a selection of invited hosts.
