A brand-new weekend of concerts is coming to Kent next summer as Canterbury Summertime Live launches in August 2026, bringing a huge festival experience to the historic heart of the city.

Canterbury Summertime Live is a brand-new series of concerts coming to Kent’s UNESCO World Heritage city in 2026. Set against the stunning backdrop of St Lawrence Ground, home of Kent Cricket, this August weekender will bring together some of the UK’s most exciting artists and festival-style line-ups, attracting over 40,000 music lovers to Canterbury across the weekend. The prestigious open-air venue will feature world-class production, international street food traders, and a premium selection of drinks, creating a true festival atmosphere at Kent’s biggest concert site.

Organisers have confirmed the first artists to perform at the debut event — dance-pop star Becky Hill, who will headline on Saturday 8th August, and ska-pop legends Madness, headlining on Sunday 9th August 2026.
