Bringing accessible mental health support to Maidstone’s town centre

Leading healthcare provider Bupa will be opening a brand-new Mindplace at Fremlin Walk on Monday 22nd December, marking an important step in expanding access to high-quality mental health support in the heart of Maidstone.

The new Mindplace offers a welcoming, calm environment where people can access mental health support through walk-in services, booked appointments and structured therapy programmes.

Services available include cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and counselling, all delivered by qualified mental health professionals, both in person and online, with links to Bupa’s wider digital mental health solutions.

The launch at Fremlin Walk forms part of Bupa’s long-term purpose to help people live longer, healthier, happier lives and make a better world, recognising that mental healthcare is a fundamental part of overall health.

Commenting on the opening, Lloyd Wright, Centre Manager at Fremlin Walk, said: “We are proud to welcome Mindplace to Fremlin Walk. Supporting the wellbeing of our community is incredibly important to us and having accessible mental health services available in a calm, central location will make a real difference to people in Maidstone. This new opening reinforces Fremlin Walk’s commitment to being more than a shopping destination – it’s a place that supports the health and wellbeing of everyone who visits.”
