The Bedgebury immersive light trail returns this Christmas with a host of enchanting new installations.

From Friday, November 15, 2024, to Wednesday, January 1, 2025, the renowned light trail will transform the stunning Bedgebury National Pinetum into a winter wonderland.

Set against a backdrop of lush, evergreen giants and ancient valleys, Christmas at Bedgebury combines award-winning dynamic lighting installations with a captivating soundscape in a Grade II-listed landscape.

Among this year’s new illuminated works will be 'Light a Wish' by OGE Design Group, which visualises dandelion seeds floating through the air.

The stunning 'Mycelium Network' by Stevie Thompson, will be a display of hundreds of glowing, colour-changing mushrooms. Meanwhile, 'Nova' by Studio Vertigo, is a large-scale sculpture based on the Star of the East.

Guests can navigate the winding paths between towering redwoods and serene lakes, each twist and turn reveals new surprises, creating countless photo opportunities and ‘wow’ moments that will delight visitors of all ages.

For those seeking a peaceful, more intimate experience, special Quiet Sessions are available earlier in the season. These popular sessions provide a tranquil atmosphere, allowing visitors to enjoy the magic of the trail with fewer crowds, making it feel as if you have the enchanted landscape all to yourself.

Adding an extra layer of festive magic, Christmas at Bedgebury offers the delightful opportunity to meet the Signing Santa.
