Tipis Restaurant Returns to Kent this winter

The Gardens at Yalding brings its bespoke Nordic Tipis back for a third season

Tipis Restaurant, situated within le events venue The Gardens in Yalding, will reopen for dining and drinks every Friday to Sunday, from 18 November 2022 until 19 March 2023.

Launched in 2020, Tipis Restaurant is a seasonal pop-up restaurant with lounge bar that operates every winter at The Gardens. It serves seasonal and locally sourced food from its bespoke nordic tipis, with a cosy lounge bar in the barn for daytime coffee and evening cocktails, and 12 acres of organic gardens to explore.

Highlights from the seasonal winter menu include:

  • Sirloin Steak, Pommes Anna, Chimichurri Charred Broccoli, Watercress Salad - £25

  • Pork Belly, Fondant Potato, Carrot Purée, Pineapple, Crackling - £19

  • Pumpkin Tortellini, Sage, Parmesan, Toasted Pine Nuts (Vegan) - £14

Highlights from the seasonal winter drinks menu include:

  • Chilli Cinnamon Hot Toddy - £12. This fiery version of the hot toddy uses honey from Laddingford Beekeepers, located within The Gardens. Our homemade infused syrup with cinnamon and chillies is paired with Masthouse Column Malt Whiskey from Copper Rivet Distillery of Chatham.

  • Apple & Apricot Bellini - £4.50. Using Owlet fruit juice from Loddington Farm, this non-alcoholic sparkling mocktail combines fresh Kentish cloudy apple juice and Fever Tree White Grape and Apricot Soda.
