Kent publisher releases book of international artworks inspired by The Simpsons
Folkestone’s Blue Monday Press releases Evergreen Fantasies featuring more than 40 artists from around the world
Independent arts publisher based in Folkestone Blue Monday Press (@bluemondaypress) has curated and published ‘Evergreen Fantasies’ - a collection of artwork inspired by The Simpsons.
The book features artwork from more than 40 artists from around the world, each recreating the world of Springfield in their own unique way. There’s a huge multitude of mediums featured including: painting, comics, ceramics, 3D design, embroidery, handmade action figures, sculpture, inflatables, and more.
Some of the featured artists include: Obvious Plant, Jack Teagle, Lee Hardcastle, Ricardo Cavolo, Death by Toys, Listen04, and many more.
Over the decades it’s been on television, The Simpsons has continually inspired artists. This book compiles some of the greatest art inspired by everyone’s favourite yellow family in a huge variety of mediums from claymation to acrylic or needle felting. The book is not only a tribute to The Simpsons but to artists themselves, their creativity, and the multitude of ways you can make things inspired by what you love.
