Rochester Cocktail Week Begins Tomorrow...

Whether you’re a bitters-loving Aperol drinker or partial to something a bit sweeter, Rochester Cocktail Week is back and ready to cater for all your drink needs.
It’s no secret the cocktail has undergone something of a transformation in the past few years, shaking off that 18-to-30s feel and emerging in a classy wave of Negronis and espresso Martinis. Think prohibition cocktails in speakeasies over a Del Boy-esque Pina Colada in your local nightclub.
That said, even the classic favourites (Sex on the Beach anyone?) will feature in Rochester’s Cocktail Week (@rochestercocktailweek)
This 12-day celebration runs from September 1 to 12 at participating venues across the city and beyond where wristband holders will be able to sample a selection of delicious signature cocktails.
Wristbands are £10, giving you access to special £5 cocktails in some of the best bars and resturants, each hand-picked by organisers New Openings Group (@NewOpeningsGroup).
You’ll find chart-topping favourites - Aperol spritz, Pornstar Martinis and margaritas - to the lesser known Midori Sour and Up Schits Kriek.
