Elliot Kid Danger - Dream Dreams (Ft. NOAH)
Insta: @elliotkiddanger
Margate local Elliot Kid Danger has released new track Dream Dreams, oozing raw vocal talent and an eye for keeping the listener on the precipice. Slick lyrics build up the purpose-filled trail-offs of chorus high notes, just to keep you waiting for a drop into the rapping verse that we know he is capable of from previous tracks like Much Too Much.
But like a dangerous fairground ride, Dream Dreams takes you back to the top and round again, even if you weren’t expecting it.
Elliot Kid Danger said: “I sometimes wonder if I'm too old to have dreams, or like they've passed me by, sometimes I feel like having ambitions is silly and childish, other times I feel like it's one of the most endearing things about being human. It's complicated navigating the things you want in life!”
A former session bassist that has worked with the likes of Clean Bandit, Jess Glynn, Sean Pail and more, Elliot Kid Danger is one to watch.
MiMi Mxnroe - Want From Me
Insta: @mimimxnroe
Hailing from South East London, rapper MiMi Mxnroe has delivered her next single ‘Want From Me’.
MiMi’s music touches on her life experiences, including a run in with the judicial system from what seems to be a very rebellious adolescence.
To a trap beat, vocals are delivered with conviction as MiMi attacks the expectations placed on women’s behaviour in the music industry.
She says: “Want From Me is a song about women breaking the barriers that are enforced by their male counterparts! Being told they have to look, act and dress in a certain way to be successful is a thing of the past and everyday women from all walks of life are doing what they want and doing bigger and better than ever before! So don’t conform to the sexist ideologies of society - live in your true self!”
MiMi’s untamed style will make you sit up and take notice. Be warned.
Corrupted Mind - All Your Fault (ft. ADUKEN)
Insta: @corrupted_mind_uk
Already getting known for his Jungle drum & bass productions, Reece Mason, AKA Corrupted Mind, has released new track All Your Fault, harnessing the vocal stylings of ADUKEN.
The 22 year old from gravesend is already painting pictures with his music, and in his new track, the rainfall injected build-up and emotional groundwork beautifully set up a song about moving on from a former love.
The jungle beat becomes the empowering track driver before the electronic keys crescendo builds to a deeper bassline. But by then you’re already hooked into the euphoria and storyline of the song. An alternative drum beat and it would sit nicely in the world of Ibiza trance. Earworm.
