Medway Food & Drink Awards Winners Announced
The event received a total of 37,456 public votes, across the 19 categories
The winners of the first ever Medway Food & Drink Awards in association with Medway Council have been unveiled via an Instagram live stream. The awards celebrate the very best food and drink businesses in a region that has more than 1,000 venues, retailers, and suppliers all contributing to its rich and varied food scene.
The event received a whopping total of 37,456 public votes, across the 19 categories.

Leader of Medway Council, Cllr Alan Jarrett, said: “We received some fantastic nominations for the inaugural Medway Food and Drink Awards and I am pleased that more than 37,000 people voted for their favourite eateries. I would like to congratulate all of the winners, as well as the businesses which were shortlisted. The awards have showcased the quality and diversity of Medway’s ever-expanding food and drink offer.”
Finally, the organisers are very proud to be partnering with the Medway Food Bank as their Official Charity Partner for the awards, raising awareness, funds, and support for the charity, who are an incredibly valuable lifeline for so many families across Medway.
