Tunbridge Wells drag performer wins RuPaul's DragRace UK
Krystal Versace takes the crown for Series Three of the hit show
Tunbridge Wells drag performer Krystal Versace steals the show - and crown - of this season’s RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.
It’s been another year of drama, dancing and spectacular runway looks.
And Krystal Versace (@krystalversace) - the youngest-ever winner in the history of Drag Race UK - is ready to take on the world.
The west Kent drag performer admits she never thought she would win the show, particularly at the somewhat tender age of 19.
But she did and it’s blown her mind.
Speaking to her followers on Instagram, Krystal paid tribute to her fans, family, friends and her ‘season three sisters’, who she competed against on the BBC Three show.
“I love you all so much, you are all f**king stars. I may have a crown but you are all winners,” she said.
“Here’s to a brilliant season and an exciting journey ahead for all of us.
“I can’t wait to keep growing and sharing my drag with the world.”
Krystal made a good impression from the start, winning the first two challenges and was heaped with praise by the judges, earning herself two RuPeter badges.
Bringing her crown back to Kent, she now hopes to inspire others and shine a light on the LGBTQ+ community.
