Local jewellers wins national award for Store Design of the year
Canterbury’s Fitzgerald Jewellers has won ‘Store Design of the Year’ at the UK Jewellery Awards
Canterbury-based independent jewellers, Fitzgerald Jewellers (@fitzgeraldjewellers), won ‘Store Design of the Year’ at the UK Jewellery Awards.
The UK Jewellery Awards Judging Panel 2022 was made up of highly esteemed industry experts.
Referencing Fitzgerald Jeweller’s win, judges said": “this winning entry was one of the most imaginative and successful interior store designs they had ever seen, creating a space that is completely unique”.
Commenting on their success, Trevor Fitzgerald said: “We’re delighted to have taken home such a prestigious award. Being recognised for our hard work is such an honour and I couldn’t be prouder of the team”.
Fitzgerald Jewellers, which can be found at 25 Burgate in Canterbury, were shortlisted for three awards on the night including Bespoke Jeweller of the Year and Retailer of the Year (Five stores or fewer).
Combining an on-site workshop with a host of curated jewellery and watch brands, the new department style store offers a unique experience notorious of Fitzgerald Jewellers.
The UK Jewellery Awards is the trade’s longest running and most prestigious awards event now celebrating its 30th anniversary. The event was hosted by radio DJ Toby Tarrant and awards were presented in 21 categories spanning everything from design and retail through to customer service and supply.
