Create Music Village launches in Ashford
Revelation, Coachworks, Macknade and The Glass House part of month-long music event
Fifteen events, four venues, one town all come together as Create Music Village (CMV), an exciting new month long event driven by four grass-roots music venues, all based in the heart of Ashford Town Centre.
Revelation, Coachworks, Macknade and The Glass House will lead a host of other local venues in celebrating the very best that live music has to offer, from DJs to Indie, rock to hip hop, big names to rising stars; all 31 days of October will be filled with music, right on your doorstep!
CMV reimagines Ashford’s much loved Create Music Festival, as an indoor-venue event with a unique village feel. It also includes four core venues plus a fringe programme with variety of workshops and livestreams, all aimed at involving as many people in the community as possible.
Names already lined up include Eddi Reader, William the Conqueror and Turin Brakes, with the full CMV line up being announced at a special launch event at Coachworks 7pm 21 July, plus music from Kitty Montague and DJ Hooch plus a chance to meet the team behind this amazing project.
