Craft beer giants list the city alongside 2022 openings in Milan, Dublin, Paris and Las Vegas
Craft beer giant BrewDog has announced that it will be opening a bar in Canterbury in 2022.
Co-founder James Watt took to Twitter to announce the city as one of a host of international openings.
He said: “Our newest site in Berlin just opened! We have new sites opening in 2022 in Brisbane, Mumbai, Basingstoke, Bristol, Chester, Atlanta, Hull, a 4th Berlin location, Milan, Denver, Canterbury, Durham, Hyderbad, Dublin, Paris, Waterloo & Las Vegas.”
On the BrewDog website, the ‘Coming Soon’ tab also now displays Canterbury, alongside the message:
”Craft beer is coming to Canterbury!
”We're bringing you one of our iconic bars where incredible craft beer meets amazing atmosphere. Our taps will be flowing with the very best beer from us and our favourite guest breweries alongside cocktails, wines & spirits and our popular alcohol-free range.
Feeling hungry punk? You'll soon be able to tuck into our epic menu of burgers, spicy wings, salads & plant-based junk food.”
While the exact location is yet to be confirmed, it is believed that new bar will be created within the city's soon-to-open Riverside complex at Kingsmead.
