Six hot drag acts to put on jaw-dropping show in Dover
The Anxious Pickle Club will showcase iconic performances with acrobatic death drops, gothic chills and glamorous skills
Six hot new drag acts representing the cream of Kentish talent will be sharing a stage in Dover on Saturday April 30th.
The Anxious Pickle Club (@theanxiouspickleclub) event will wow the audience with performances from some of the county’s best loved queens - and a king - in what will be the hottest ticket in town.
The Diety (@the_diety1), so iconic they dedicated an entire night of Canterbury’s Glitterbomb to her, will be there along with Margate’s Alotta Hell (@alotta_hell), who’ll be bringing gothic chills and glamorous skills to the night.
Dover's first ever drag king Gavin Alarrf (@gavin_alarrf), fresh from wowing the crowds at Drag Idol, will be appearing, while Janet District Council (@janetdistrictcouncil) will be clocking in after her recent appearances at Punk & Plume.
This month’s debut queen Cheryl Shots (@cheryl_shots) will be stunning the crowd with acrobatic death drops.
Hot off the dancefloor and a prize-winning appearance at Folkestone’s Damp Disco, Emma Panda (@itsemmapanda) - Afab Queen and Anxious Pickle founder - will also be showing off her prowess.
She said: “This is a social club for everyone and anyone with an open mind and love of all things queer and drag.
“It's a chance to be able enjoy an evening in a safe space - not just the queer community but for all."
Host Frazer Doyle of Dover Pride fame will be the compere for the evening.
The event is on Saturday, April 30, at 8pm, at Biggin Hall in Dover.
