Experience Howard Hodgkin’s vivid world of colour at The Amelia Scott, Tunbridge Wells
Heading to The Amelia Scott in Tunbridge Wells this winter, ‘Howard Hodgkin: In a Public Garden’ brings together more than 30 richly-coloured prints by one of Britain’s most distinctive modern artists.
Spanning five decades, from 1966 to 2016, the exhibition offers an engaging introduction to Hodgkin’s printmaking. It shows how he used colour, shape and texture to turn memories, places and personal encounters into vivid visual experiences.
