Smoke, sound and seriously good flavour - Macknade’s much-loved Beer & BBQ Fest is back for summer 2026 and it’s shaping up to be the best one yet.

Set against the backdrop of their Faversham Food Hall and buzzing Food Village, this one-day festival brings together craft beer, live-fire cooking and live music, plus fun for all the family.

FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS…

Big Green Egg

If there’s one name synonymous with next-level outdoor cooking, it’s Big Green Egg - and they return as Macknade’s official BBQ partner for 2026.

More than just a grill, these iconic ceramic ovens are built for versatility. Think low-and-slow smoked meats, perfectly blistered pizzas and high-heat searing, all with that unmistakable depth of flavour that only charcoal cooking can deliver.

Throughout the day, expect to see them in action across the festival site, with a dedicated Big Green Egg stand and a presence on the live cooking stage.

Smokey Rebel

Taking centre stage this year are Smokey Rebel, sponsors of the live cooking stage and a brand that’s built a loyal following for bold, flavour-packed BBQ rubs and an even bolder approach to food.

Founder Russ - known for bringing a rebellious energy to the world of BBQ - will be MC’ing the stage across the day. His ‘No Rules’ approach to BBQ is less a slogan and more a challenge to the old way of thinking that BBQ means strict methods and one-size-fits-all methods.

Instead, expect a rolling programme of live demos featuring lots of tips and plenty of personality to help you become the master of your home BBQ and find the freedom to do it your own way.

Jam Sandwich

Among those bringing the soundtrack to the day are Jam Sandwich, a much-loved covers band with a cult following who are making their long-awaited return to Faversham.

Known for their crowd-pleasing set-lists and high-energy performances, they’ll be stepping on stage in the afternoon to deliver a run of indie, rock, pop and dancefloor fillers.

Whether you’re front of stage enjoying some big singalong moments or watching from the sidelines with a drink in hand, expect a set that keeps the atmosphere lifted well into the evening.
