Gravesham Light Festival returns in 2027 with Galactic Glow, transforming Gravesend town centre into a dazzling universe of cosmic colour, creativity and imagination.
Celebrating the town’s fifth Light Festival, Galactic Glow takes inspiration from galaxies, stars and the mysteries of space, with light installations, illuminated performances, music and creative workshops providing plenty for all ages to explore.
This is a festival driven by artists and their imagination. Local artists will feature prominently throughout the programme, creating installations that bring their own interpretation of Galactic Glow to the streets and spaces of Gravesend. Joining them will be two unmissable festival highlights: Bin Bot the extraterrestrial robot by Emergency Exit Arts and The Lumens, a quad stilt due embodying everything that is alien. Together, they will add to a night filled with creativity, discovery and cosmic wonder.
At its heart, Galactic Glow is about bringing people together and seeing Gravesend in a different light, transforming familiar places and creating extraordinary experiences through art.
