Pasta Slut to return to The George & Heart in Margate for Autumn

Pasta Slut will be at The George & Heart for an autumn residency and some exciting collaborations

Serving dishes passed down from her Nonna, Pasta Slut (@therealpastaslut) - or Hayley Meredith - is heading back to old town Margate after knockout pop-ups in July and August to bring a midweek carb fix to The George and Heart (@georgeandheart)

Pasta Slut (the name is all about reclaiming and removing the negative connotations of the word) will be serving up those tasty Anglo-Sicilian plates on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, from 5pm.

On Fridays, the in-house kitchen team will be serving small plates alongside Pasta Slut, with some exciting collaborations in the coming weeks.

And one more thing - late night openings are starting on Fridays and Saturdays at The George & Heart, until 1am, meaning more time for food and cocktails.

Pasta Slut started in Hayley’s Nonna’s kitchen when, returning from a festival starving, she was served up meatballs which inspired the launch of her iconic t-shirts, a summer of catering festivals and then the first pop-up in Bristol in 2018.

She doesn’t proclaim to be a proper chef, but has won hearts and continues to do so with her delightful plates.

And for now, Pasta Slut is at the seaside and catering for all your pasta needs so get stuck in.
